University of the Sunshine Coast

The University of the Sunshine Coast Petrie project involved the construction of three new buildings, accommodating not only staff offices but also student tutorial teaching spaces, laboratories, and various breakout areas. BFX collaborated closely with the University of the Sunshine Coast to design and deliver a range of ergonomic office furniture and casual seating. We worked with the project team to select modern finishes and fabric colours that complemented the contemporary architecture. The project was delivered ahead of schedule and within budget. For the offices, we supplied Ascendo Height Adjustable workstations with soft wiring and acoustic screening for privacy and sound reduction, along with Ergo Midi fully ergonomic chairs and custom-made planter box storage solutions. The breakout spaces featured Lola sled base chairs with Warwick Charisma vinyl seat pads, Mars flip tables, Modele curved ottomans with integrated coffee tables, Orbit tables with Quila single-seater lounges, and Quell booth seating with various disc base tables.
