Project Description
Oak Flats High School, located south of Wollongong, engaged BFX to refurbish a variety of spaces with a focus on a Flexible Computer Room. The Principal had a clear vision to create a very special space for senior students where collaboration could thrive. This was to be achieved by providing highly flexible spaces, with agile furniture to allow for easy reconfiguration based on activity.
Scope
- Flexible Computer Room to seat 30 students, Teacher Common Room and STEM and Maths Rooms.
- Showtime Ottomans to provide a range of seating options where students can use a laptop.
- Zone High Tables and Dynami Lab Stools.
- Smartable Jotter and Clique Student Tables.
- Tote storage and Fanfare Whiteboard
Key Services
BFX Sales and Project Consultant, Marion Homes provided on-site consultations directly with the Principal to clarify scope along with a measure of the spaces. Multiple furniture options and floor plan designs were created for feedback. Fabric and board samples were provided to assist with colour coordination and selection. Acoustic paneling was chosen to match the furniture colours selected. The project was completed on time and budget.
